(Beschluss) der Kassandreer:Die Strategen und die nomophylakes stellten den Antrag: Da erschienen sind Festgesandte vonder Stadt der Koer und ankünden die Asklepieia und die Spiele,die dabei veranstaltet werden, sowie den Festfrieden, und das Wohlwollenihrer Stadt betonen, das sie beständig gegenüber dem König Antigonosund der Stadt der Kassandreer und gegenüber allen übrigen Makedonenerzeigen, und ersuchen, dass unverletzlich sei das Heiligtum des Asklepios bei ihnen,zu Glück und Heil!, möge beschließen der Rat: dass man anerkenne die Ankündigung der Asklepieiaund die Spiele und den Festfrieden, und dass das Heiligtum des Asklepiosunverletzlich sei gemäß dem Willen des Königs; dass man belobige die Stadt der Koer,weil sie beständig Vorsorge trifft für die treffliche und ruhmvolle Ausführung der(Kulthandlungen) gegenüber den Göttern, und weil sie beständig ihr Wohlwollen erzeigtgegenüber dem König Antigonos und unserer Stadt und allen Makedonen;dass der Schatzmeister den erschienenen (Gesandten) als Gastgeschenk das gebe, wasvorgeschrieben ist laut dem Gesetz; dass man sie auch einlade in das Heiligtum des Stadtgründers, dieKosten hierfür aber der Schatzmeister erstatte. Angekündigt aber haben: Aristolochos S.d. Zmendronals Leiter, Makareus S.d. Aratos, als Festgesandter. Das Opfer ist für den achten Mond (einzuplanen).

Beschluss am neunzehnten Gorpiaios:Da der von der Stadt der Koer entsandte Leiter der Festgesandtschaft Aristolochos S.d.Zmendron und mit ihm der Festgesandte Makareus S.d. Aratos vor der Volksversammlungaufgetreten sind und das enge Verhältnis erneuerten, das die Koer zu den Makedonenhaben, und das Wohlwollen offenbarten, das die Stadt beständig gegenüber dem KönigAntigonos und den Makedonen erzeigt, ferner die Asklepieia ankündigten, diebei ihnen stattfinden, und den Festfrieden, und ersuchten, dass das Heiligtumdes Asklepios in Kos unverletzlich sei, so wolle beschließen die Stadt der Amphipoliten: dassman die Ankündigung der Asklepieia und den Festfrieden anerkenne und siebelobige wegen der Ehrungen, die sie den Göttern veranstalten, und wegen desWohlwollens gegenüber dem König Antigonos und gegenüber den Makedonen; dass ferner dasHeiligtum unverletzlich sei, wie es auch König Antigonos wünscht; dass die Archontenden Festgesandten auch als Gastgeschenk ebensoviel gebe, wie denjenigen gegeben wird, die diePythien ankündigen; dass Theorodoke der Festgesandtschaft der Koer sein solle Dionysios S.d.Epigenes. Zmendron, und als Festgesandten mitihm Makareus S.d. Of the Kassandreans:The generals and the nomophylakes proposed: inasmuch as theoroi have come fromthe city of the Koans proclaiming the Asklepieia and the contestsheld at it and the sacred truce, and they speak on thegood will of their city which is maintains toward king Antigonosand the city of the Kassandreans and all other Macedonians,and they ask that their temple of Asklepios be inviolable,for good fortune, it is decreed by the council: to accept the proclamation of theAsklepieia and the contests and the sacred truce, and the temple of Asklepiosis to be inviolable in keeping with the king’s wishes; to praise the city of the Koansbecause it seeks to have care that celebrations for the gods arefine and distinguished, and because the maintain their existing good willtoward king Antigonos and our city and all Macedonians;the treasurer is to give the visitors as hospitality the allocation stipulatedin the law; and they are to be invited to the magistrate building; the expensefor these things is to be given by the treasurer. These made the proclamation: Aristolochos son of Zmendronchief theoros, Makareus son of Aratos theoros. The sacrifice is in the ninth month.
Of the Amphipolites:In year forty-one of king Antigonos, epistates being Xeniasson of Orgeus, under priest Lysimachos, decrees of Gorpiaios the nineteenth:inasmuch as there has been sent by the city of the Koans chief theoros Aristolochos son ofZmendron and with him theoros Makareus son of Aratos, who came before theassembly and renewed the existing intimacy that the Koans have with the Macedoniansand spoke on the good will which their city maintains towardking Antigonos and the Macedonians, and proclaimed the Asklepieiathat take place among them and and the sacred truce, and asked that the temple ofAsklepios be inviolable, it is decreed by the city of the Amphipolites:to accept the proclamation of the Asklepieia and the sacred truce and topraise them for the honors with which they celebrate the gods, and for theirgood will toward king Antigonos and the Macedonians; the templeis to be inviolable, as also king Antigonos prefers; the archonsare to give hospitality to the theoroi in the amount given to those who proclaim the Pythia;theoros-host for the Koan theoric mission is to be Dionysios son ofEpigenes.
